Zoo Grooves at the NC Zoo
Beckon your inner party animal and shake your tail feathers on Oct. 15 at the NC Zoo in
Asheboro's Halloween Zoo Grooves event, which welcomes everyone 21 or older. Don't miss
this wicked-fun night, which features live music from the popular band Sleeping Booty—they've
opened for The Beach Boys, Earth Wind & Fire, Huey Lewis and the News, and more—cold craft
beer, delicious fare from various food vendors and a festive Halloween costume party. Bring
a comfy chair and a cozy blanket to groove to Sleeping Booty under the stars at the outdoor
African Amphitheatre. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the concert jams from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
