Ingredients
Espresso-infused vodka:
(yields 10 servings)
2 cups coarse ground espresso
1/4 cup raw cane sugar
2 cups water
750 milliliters (approximately 3 cups) vodka
Cocktail:
(yields 1 serving)
2 ounces espresso-infused vodka
1/4 ounce Sambuca
5 ounces cane sugar root beer
(Abita is recommended)
Preparation
Espresso-infused vodka:
• Steep coarse ground espresso and
raw cane sugar in boiling water for
15 minutes
• Strain grounds through coffee flter
• Combine strained espresso with
vodka
Cocktail/Assembly:
• Shake vigorously in mixing tin
• Pour into champagne coupe
