Charlotte Convention Center

Located in the heart of Center City, the Charlotte Convention Center opened in 1995 as the ideal
venue for conventions, trade shows, banquets, conferences and athletic events. It attracts more
than half a million visitors each year for events, like the Spirit of Hope National Championship
for cheerleading, the CIAA Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament Fan Fest and the Queen
City Classic Volleyball Championship. The facility offers an award-winning, full-service, in-house
catering department, concierge service, a visitor information center, gift shop and more. An
easy over-street walkway connects the Convention Center to the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
