EPIC BATTLE ON
THE ICE
With equal parts precision and
speed, your favorite hockey player
glides past the cheering crowds
and toward the goal, scraping the
ice below. It's a battle on center
ice between the opponents and the
Charlotte Checkers. With a natural
flick of the hockey stick, the puck
flies past the goaltender and into the
net. Goal! Fielding high-fives, you
jump from your seat to cheer on the
team, careful not to spill Cheerwine
on your lucky jersey.
Enthusiastic fans pile into Bojangles'
Coliseum throughout the season
for nonstop action. At each game,
athletic grit and bold plays are
met with roars from the stands.
Replays from the most recent goal
echo from the Jumbotron as rows
of fans—once strangers—join
together to belt out team chants and
do the wave.
The fanfare never fades at a
Charlotte Checkers game. Off the
ice, you make friends with the
Checkers' mascot, Chubby, show
off your good luck dance for the
cameras and sip local craft beer in
the beer garden.
