PARTING shot Emily Farrington Smith Brunch at littleSpoon For a place with a moniker that makes it seem a bit diminutive, littleSpoon packs huge flavor. Located in Myers Park, cozy and intimate—both and size and character—littleSpoon is one of the city's go-to spots for breakfast and brunch. Owner Alesha Sin Vanata's vision is an ever-changing menu filled with the freshest local ingredients, a killer soundtrack that changes daily and a kicked-back vibe that truly must be experienced to be believed. Did we mention that the giant, bowl-shaped coffee cups take both hands to lift? If that doesn't get you in the door, we're not sure what will. Closed Mondays, littleSpoon operates from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. If the weather is nice, opt to sit out on the patio to partake in a beloved littleSpoon pastime: people watching. And if a menu item catches your eye, order it right away; with a constant rotation of amazing items, there's a chance it won't be available tomorrow. Toss out all of your preconceived notions about breakfast and get ready for a stunningly unique menu that will make you sit back and truly appreciate the wonder that is the egg.
