Dads + Bags + Brews
Prenatal massages and Lamaze classes aren't the only prep steps the city
offers for soon-to-be parents. Enter: Dads + Bags + Brews.
Thanks to a local community-minded group and the city's only birth
center, Charlotte's expectant fathers can meet other new and soon-to-be
dads at local breweries throughout the year to talk shop about dubbels—
and diaper bags.
Dads + Bags + Brews is a monthly event series coordinated by Baby
+ Co. and the Charlotte Dads Group. The meetup-style gatherings are
designed for dads-to-be to grab cold ones, battle it out in cornhole and
chat all things baby with others who are on the same journey toward
fatherhood.
Of course, all are welcome (even wee ones) at any of the event's family-
friendly events, which are held at area breweries. Add this month's event,
which runs from 3 to 5 p.m. at Red Clay Ciderworks on April 30, to your
birthing class-filled calendar.
