On Saturday mornings, trained racing professionals lead youth racing leagues and offer kids the opportunity to get some practice in before participating in qualifiers that award points to the winners. Junior racers can also participate in a three-hour drivers training to improve their skills on the track. If go-kart racing isn't your thing, Victory Lane's "Gasoline Alley," aka the bowling alley, rents out individual lanes by the hour. In the Arcade, you'll also find new and throwback classics like Pac Man to pass the time. After hours of play, Pit Road Bar & Grill, Victory Lane's restaurant, is sure to put some fuel back in your tank. For kids, they specialize in classic American eats like mac and cheese, pizza, and chicken fingers. But parents get to indulge in the real showstoppers: Featured on "Diners, Drive- Ins and Dives," the restaurant offers entrees like the Hot Lap (spicy shredded chicken, melted mozzarella, fresh cilantro and jalapeno cilantro crema served on a toasted ciabatta roll) and a host of burger options. If you've got the need for speed and want a little more thrill than bumper cars provide, you want Victory Lane Karting Center, Charlotte's indoor motorsports go-kart facility designed especially for competition. 2330 Tipton Drive, Suite 100 | Charlotte, NC 28206 704.377.3278 PLAN YOUR VISIT PHOTOS BY KYO H NAM CHARLOT TESGOTALOT.COM 33
